Today, I started tipping for the first time. I decided to tip outside of /r/bitcoin
In my laziness, I did not lookup the names of the different tips, I just tipped dollar values like "one dollar" or "two dollars."
I am not going to post the thread because I do not want it to be brigaded.
However, here are the comments:
"That's the first time I saw someone tip an actual amount outside of a beer here and there on the bitcoin subs. Nice."
"So its actual money I thought that it was just some game."
Therefore, if you are going to tip with the goal of evangelizing, its probably better to tip actual dollar values.
